01 : About sheet material

Do you do shape forming?

The processing of bending, shearing, laser cutting, laser marker is available same as the conventional stainless -steel materials.

Do you do welding?

Yes, we do. But Abel-black changes its color by the heat effect of welding.
For your information, some customers of us have invented their own preventive methods against color change by means of the back-side welding, or some others execute their welding to the area where heat affect do not reach.

What is the color of the cut-edge?

It is the metal material intrinsic color.
Abel-black appears on the surface alone.

Do you manufacture the sizes other than fixed regular sizes?

If the required quantity amounts to some certain volume, they will be cut out of the regular size and be delivered.
If the required quantity would be small, kindly consult with us.

02 : Coil materials

Do you manufacture other sizes than width300mm?

Regular manufactured size is width 300mm.
We cannot manufacture wider sizes than 300mm.
If your required width size would be less than 300mm, we are able to slit them to your required size and deliver them to you.

03 : Ordered processing

Do you accept ordered processing only one piece?

Available. But kindly consult with our Sales people in regard to delivery time and cost in advance.

Do you process any material group of stainless-steel?

Austenite group (304, 301, 303, 316) and ferrite group (430) are available.

Do you process Abel-black partially?

Since we do color processing by means of dipping a whole piece into the coloring solvent at one time, we are unable to color the metal piece partially.
Masking tape brings about pollution through dissolution to the coloring solvent.
Consequently, we do not accept the order of partial coloring process.

04 : Others

Do you process matte finish?

Since Abel-black is an extreme thin film of oxide film 1μｍ thickness, surface rough skin remains as it is.
In case you need the matte finished surface, base metal surface should be roughened.
We will propose suitable process depend upon quality you need, so that kindly consult with us beforehand.

Tell us the sizes of your available processing.

The size of processing solvent tank is 350W x 4000L x 1200H.
There are smaller processing solvent tanks which avail small lot processing.
The process availability depends upon the shapes you require, so kindly consult with our sales representatives in advance separately.

Do you meet with export requirement?

Abel-black has export experience.
Because Abel-black is the product whose intrinsic oxide film has been thickened, it is not the subject any specific export regulation. When the product size is large, we are ready to prepare the disinfected wooden cases, picture of sample wooden case is shown below.
