Independently developed the stainless steel coloring method “Kin Color”, mainly applied to architectural metal fittings
Developed fully automated electrolytic polishing equipment in-house
Installed new automated Kin Color processing equipment
Began joint development of stainless steel electrolytic coloring “Lumina Color” with Kawasaki Steel Corporation
Constructed new factory building and installed Japan’s first Lumina Color electrolytic coloring facility
Succeeded in coloring stainless steel mesh in six colors
Developed a fingerprint-resistant satin finish after blast processing
- Developed Lumina Color Light Black and Light Bronze
- Developed Super Black, which allows coloring even on welded areas
- Changed company name from Kinki Pharmaceutical Industry Co., Ltd. to Abel Co., Ltd.
- Developed color blast “Abel Color” and adopted for JR Shinkansen and other rail vehicles
Installed precision electrolytic polishing equipment for semiconductor-related applications
Installed precision internal electrolytic polishing equipment for tanks and piping
Constructed a Class 1000 cleanroom facility
Certified under the Act for the Advancement of Manufacturing Base Technologies for SMEs (Supporting Industry Program)
- Approved by Osaka Prefecture for the “Management Innovation Plan”
